Hi, my name is Stephen Sivley and I was born in Decatur, Alabama on September 12, 1950 I graduated from Priceville High School in 1968. I joined the Army in September of 1969 and had basic training in Ft. Jackson, S.C. I then went to Ft. Devens, Ma. Then onto Ft. Ore Ca. On July 21, 1970 I was deployed to Davis Station, Vietnam with the 509th RRG, I left Vietnam one year later on July 16, 1971 headed for Ft. Knox, Ky. With the 1st US Army HHC 194th Armory BDE. In January of 1972 I was transferred to Army National Guard Company B 131 Signal BDE in Decatur, Alabama until my discharge September 15, 1975 These are the only two pictures to survive my divorce the ex burned the rest. |

After the Army, I began insulating and became a member of the Asbestos Workers Local 78 in Birmingham Al. I work all over the country in powerhouses, nuclear plants, and other industrial areas. I have worked in 15 different nuclear plants From Three Mile Island in Pa to Port St Lucie in Florida and from Sea Brook Nuclear plant in New Hampshire to San Onofre in Southern Ca. I work with my wife Linda who is also an insulator and we travel together. |
